Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday’ Album Sampler — Check It Out!

We’re surprised that with less than two weeks to go before Nicki Minaj’s debut album Pink Friday drops (November 22), we haven’t already heard every track off the LP. Way to protect your tunes, Nicki! Still, we’re one step closer to experiencing the pink-wigged wonder’s album in full with a new sample platter of 13 tracks. (We’re assuming this 17-song track list that surfaced a few weeks ago is the deluxe version.) Get your Barbie preview on by heading below!

Our first impression? This isn’t just a rollercoaster ride of an album — it’s the entire carnival. There’s hard tracks, like Nicki throwing it down with Eminem on “Roman’s Revenge”; sweet tunes like “Right Thru Me” and “Your Love”; old school hip-hop jams like “Moment 4 Life” with Drake; and total electro-pop, as heard in the Buggles-sampling, will.i.am-featuring “Check It Out”.

With Minaj effortlessly crossing genres from song to song, there’s truly something for everybody on this album. We’re not confident enough to think Pink Friday will win the day over Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy — especially now that ‘Ye scored himself some last minute promotion with a Twitter rant and an awkward on-air feud with Matt Lauer — but Barbie’s chart performance should be as out of this world as her rolodex of personalities.
