Earlier today we got our hands on Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday album sampler, but now it’s time to put aside the ferocious rapper’s debut LP for a moment in order to preview the Black Eyed Peas’ latest offering to dancefloors ’round the world, The Beginning. After listening to a preview of the group’s 15 tracks, we can happily say that there’s more to BEP’s latest LP than placing songs from the soundtrack of our youth into hip-pop tracks where they don’t belong. Jump below for the Peas’ album sampler!

For the record, the alleged track list for The Beginning has 12 tracks instead of the 15 represented here, so we’re assuming that this sampler is for the deluxe version.

The Black Eyed Peas — The Beginning Sampler

“Fashion Beats” is a bit disco, “Do It Like This” sounds surprisingly like dubstep, and “The Situation” (which is sadly destined to feature Jersey Shore‘s most abtacular character should the song get a music video) is a slice of 80s rock with Fergie rockin’ the vocals. But from these brief snippets alone, we’re betting on “Don’t Stop The Party” will be a hit single.

How about you? What’s your first impression of the BEP’s sixth LP?
