OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder sings about the wonders of being young and traveling the globe in their new single, “Good Life”. But for a song about seeing various iconic cities all over the world, we’re a little disappointed the video only takes in one of the less picturesque spots of the rolling countryside of what is most likely California (but could be anywhere, really). Watch the band get away from it all in the Ethan Lader-directed clip below.

OneRepublic — “Good Life”

We’re a bit bored with the video, but the song, from the band’s sophomore album Waking Up, has us hooked with the infectious whistling on the hook — we can practically hear it played an naseum on TV commercials from now til mid-2011.

What do you think of OneRepublic’s latest video? Should they just have rented a green screen and trekked the globe that way?
