Funny Or Die gal Ke$ha waxes philosophical on the parties and the disasters she’s endured, as well as her “pretty and plastered” friends, in her new Cannibal cut “Crazy Beautiful Life.” Is the world ready to hear the story of the dollar-sign singer’s rise to fame set to a driving, upbeat pop tune? Listen below! “I’ve been through my sketchy phases, been broke, been a shitty waitress/ But I’m not now, guess it worked out, got here by running my mouth,” Ke$ha rap-sings on the autobiographical song, as synth riffs squiggle around a mid-tempo beat.

And so far this is one of the more standout tracks we’ve heard from mini album Cannibal.

Ke$ha is best when she digs a bit deeper than the “glitter on the dancefloor” subject matter she’s mined on more than one occasion, musically. She’s clearly getting clever wordplay down to an art. Now she just needs to continue sharpening her storytelling $kill$.
