B.o.B Holds On Strong In His “Don’t Let Me Fall” Video

We were underwhelmed with B.o.B’s video for “Airplanes“, which, despite being nothing spectacular, was nominated for Video Of The Year at this past year’s VMAs. But we’re enchanted by the Atalanta rapper’s latest aspirational clip for his single, “Don’t Let Me Fall”. The Ethan Lader-directed vid was cut together using footage from B.o.B’s live shows, along with gravity-defying scenes filmed in downtown Denver and at the open-air Red Rocks Amphitheater. Watch Bobby Ray hold onto a parking meter for dear life after the jump.

B.o.B. — “Don’t Let Me Fall”

This mind-bending technique of subjects seemingly defying gravity while inhabiting the same space is nothing new in music videos — just check out Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness” and “Lucas With The Lid Off” (directed by Michel Gondry) for two examples of the in-camera trickery — but we haven’t grown tired of it yet.

What do you think of B.o.B’s “Don’t Let Me Fall”?
