In addition to an in$pired performance from Ke$ha on The X Factor, Lee DeWyze’s “Sweet Serendipity” video and the cover art for Adam Lambert’s upcoming acoustic release, the past seven days also brought new music from Adele, Dr. Dre and Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Christina Aguilera. And just how did our readers react to all this pop racket? Head below!

:: Vertigoshtick blah blah blahed on Ke$ha’s Looking Sick And Sexified On The X Factor Australia: “I know her track record with live performances thus far has been rocky at best, this is exactly the kind of tv appearance one would want to do after announcing your first headlining tour (especially when you’ve only put out one album so far, rather than the usual two or three): clean and rehearsed, confident, and true to the artist or the tour’s image/theme/motifs.”

:: Joshua liked what he heard on Listen To Adele’s New Single “Rolling In The Deep” From 21: “That was incredible. I can’t wait hear what else she has planned for the new album.”

:: LMG was wishing for more of a happy accident on “Sweet Serendipity” Is Watching Over Lee DeWyze In His New Video: “LOVE his voice especially when it goings down into the gravel-like, down-to-earth, freaking sexy, tone. Unfortunetly there is not enough of that in this song! It’s cute and all but I still wish there had been more of that and less than the auto-tuned tone we got. I am looking forward to the next song he picks out and hope that his lable gives him some lee-way or he will end up like all the other winners that people loved on the show but were quickly forgotten when it was over.”

:: Lisa, however, was a bit more blunt: “Hmmmm… why doesn’t he try some ointment for that fungal growth underneath his chin?”

:: Lissy waved a white flag on Adam Lambert Asks For Peace On The Cover Of His Acoustic Album: “Hah that cover art was not what I was expecting for his acoustic ep, another thing I like about the dude, always surprising me. Love it, he looks hot as hale. Will be waiting with my clicky finger to buy that ish the day it hits itunes.”

:: Brandon Hall got loud on Nicki Minaj And Rihanna Soar On Inspirational New Song “Fly”: “This really is a good song even with Rihanna’s dismal vocals, Nicki, of course, is on fire I believe Pink Friday is going to be hot, it’ll be interesting to see Loud’s opening week numbers considering none of her albums have had a particularly good opening week.”

:: Tory let the genie out of the bottle on Christina Aguilera’s Burlesque Ballad “Bound To You” Is Beautiful: “Boring. Yawn. Sounds like old school Mariah, only not as good. All I can hear is her bitchy ugly face. She really has ruined things for me with her awful attitude. I just picture her talking trash to everyone in the studio while recorded. Such a waste. She just turns everyone off.”

:: That said, Xtina_Voicelera_always_wins ended things on a high note: “Christina has been recording songs that are too epic since the 90s and… I am always baffled and amazed by her perfect vocal style and music. I’ll never get over it. This is just too good. Fantastic epic flawless voice.”

:: Biff had no California love for Dr. Dre Reunites With Eminem For “I Need A Doctor”: “Kush is ok but very disappointing for a Dre production. I need a doctor is quite possibly the worst song Dre has ever made. I couldn’t stand to listen to all of that noise any longer. To make us wait 11 years I would expect every song to be a platinum hit. If either one of these songs are on the album I will cry.”

:: COMMENT OF THE WEEK — Once again, LMG brings the zing, this time on Ke$ha Has A Girlie-Man Problem On “Grow A Pear”: “ok…wasn’t sure what a vadge was at first…that’s a new word for my vocabulary list so thanks for that.”
