Kid Cudi Plays Himself On ‘One Tree Hill’, Becomes The Most Convincing Actor On The Show
A few weeks ago The CW tapped pop pixie Robyn to sing on Gossip Girl, and last night Kid Cudi made a guest appearance on One Tree Hill, performing his song “Erase Me” and giving aspiring musician Erin some advice about surviving in the music industry. (“Just be you, do your thing, you’ll be aight.”) What’s next, Nicki Minaj on The Vampire Diaries? Actually, now that we’ve said that, we really, really want it to happen. Do any of these musical cameos on these shows ever feel not completely forced? At least Cudi, who is a cast member of HBO’s How To Make It In America, knows how to deliver his lines naturally, which is more than we can say for the rest of the cast.
