Cee Lo May Record With Gwyneth Paltrow — Just Thought You Should Know

Cee Lo may fancy himself a slick, 007-style lady killer, but it sounds like he’s as capable of being starstruck just like anyone else. Cee Lo told E! that he so liked Gwyneth Paltrow’s performance of “Forget You” on Glee that he’s exploring a possible collaboration with her. To borrow a lyric from “F**K You,” we’d like to say: “Whyyyyy?!?!?” Read his comments below.

“We’re actually working on something [together],” Cee Lo told E!. “We’ve been considering a few things actually. You know, we’ll see what pans out… It’s a little too early to commit to a statement and I won’t ruin the surprise because whatever we’re going to do is going to be extra cool… keep your toes crossed.”

Look, Cee Lo is a massively creative artist (and dresser, for real) who can work with whoever he likes, but if he’s going to jump into the studio with an actress who’s already covered his music, we really would’ve preferred — no joke — Taylor Momsen. Besides, isn’t Gwyneth pursuing a country career now? Cee Lo — you’re more an Xbox, she’s more an Atari. Please re-consider.
