Alexis Jordan Is A “Good Girl” On New Dance Track

Jan 12th, 2011 // 2 Comments

Alexis Jordan claims she can be good after being oh-so bad on “Good Girl”, the second single from her self-titled debut album. The 18-year old has had some massive success across the pond with her lead single “Happiness” peaking at #3 on the UK singles charts. Will “Good Girl” get Americans finally paying attention to this plucky pop gal? Jump below to listen.

“You might mistake me for a heartbreaker, cause there’s blood on the floor / I’m hoping that you see something good in me you’ve never seen before,” sings Alexis on the catchy dance tune.

This feel good, head-boppin’ number is bubbly and just pure fun. Too bad Selena Gomez didn’t get her hands on this one — sounds like it could fit right next to “A Year Without Rain” in her new dance-pop repertoire. If Jordan releases a killer video and gets a bit more exposure performing “Good Girl” on late night TV, we can see 2011 being very good to her.

Here’s the official track listing from Alexis’ debut LP:

Absolutely loved this when I heard it a few days ago. She is such a talented girl. Do we know the release date for her LP?

  2. Theres no way that “particular” song could ever be a hit in the current US market, its too familiar, she doesn’t really sound like Keri Hilson, but I get a very Keri Hilson vibe from this song but sounding like Keri Hilson isn’t even working for Keri Hilson, so not that best way to go.

    Its solid.
