What’s more intriguing than Bruno Mars covering Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge? How about Diddy-Dirty Money trying their hand at Far East Movement’s “Like A G6”, also for the BBC Radio show. After dishing out some Last Train To Paris tracks, the trio performed their version of the party-lovin’ group’s hit tune, and it’s just as fly as the original. In fact, it’s pretty much just like the original in every way. Jump below to compare and contrast D-DM and FM’s “slizzards”.

“That Dirty Money crew fly like a G7,” says Diddy on the live recording. “You’ve just been upgraded. Thank you.”

What you’re listening to is basically Diddy and his gals doing some karaoke. But good karaoke, like attending a swanky karaoke joint in Manhattan full of Broadway performers, as opposed to the dive bar in a strip mall that rents a karaoke machine for the townies to (ab)use while drunk. What we’re saying is — it’s pretty good.
