Nicki Minaj is able to effortlessly boost up the buzz on any song in which she’s featured, and now the same goes for TV: this past weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, which included Harujuku Barbie wigging out all over the place, averaged a 3.2 rating with adults 18-49 in 25 markets, dominating the time slot. The ep tied with the 25th season premiere (featuring Katy Perry and her Elmo-ified boobs) and only trailed behind the January 8 show with host Jim Carrey.
