Nicki Minaj And Facebook Make Good Ratings For ‘SNL’

Nicki Minaj is able to effortlessly boost up the buzz on any song in which she’s featured, and now the same goes for TV: this past weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, which included Harujuku Barbie wigging out all over the place, averaged a 3.2 rating with adults 18-49 in 25 markets, dominating the time slot. The ep tied with the 25th season premiere (featuring Katy Perry and her Elmo-ified boobs) and only trailed behind the January 8 show with host Jim Carrey. So either Minaj is only getting more popular, or people were really hoping Mark Zuckerberg would poke host Jesse Eisenberg during the monologue. [Rap-Up]
