Black Eyed Peas, Slash & Usher Have The Halftime Of Their Lives At Super Bowl XLV

With no disrespect to The Boss or The Who, the Super Bowl halftime shows have been fairly sleepy the past few years, but The Black Eyed Peas had every football fan in Cowboys stadium with their feet on the floor and their hands in the air during their balls-out epic LED light spectacular. Love or hate the Peas, they had no problem lighting up the night. Watch the unbelievable set below.

Backed by a sea of glowing dancers, the foursome went through an impressive number of their hits in their 13-minute performance, from “Where Is The Love?” to their Dirty Dancing soundtrack-sampling “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life”, and even fit in  cameos by the object of Fergie’s obsession, Slash, as well as will.i.am’s “OMG” buddy Usher.

There’s a few misses (Fergie wasn’t exactly on her A game during her Guns & Roses cover; and Usher yet again lip-synced so he could focus on his dance moves), but much more hits. (When the stage spelled out the word “LOVE” in a brilliant glow, we watched in awe just how huge the performance was.)

But you tell us – what halftime show did you prefer: The Black Eyed Peas mega-medley, or the super-cute kitties working their magic in the middle of Puppy Bowl?
