Right after the Green Bay Packers, it was the cast of Glee that dominated Super Bowl Sunday. Lea Michele kicked things off with “America The Beautiful”, the cast starred in their own musical Chevrolet commercial, and the Fox hit’s highly anticipated post-game episode aired, bringing out their big guns. (Or rather their human canon, thanks to Sue Sylvester.) There was some a cappella Destiny’s Child, some country crooning, but the main event was definitely the Michael Jackson/Yeah Yeah Yeahs mash-up of “Thriller” and “Heads Will Roll”, complete with lots of zombies and moralizing.

Head below to watch the glee club’s halftime performance, then see where it landed on our list of the Top 5 “Thriller” Tributes Of All Time.

#5 – “Thriller” Hands Some people have too much time on their hands, and find some ridiculously entertaining way to fill it. (How about the digits from “Daft Hands” get together with this pair and make a mash-up of their own?)

#4 – Indian “Thriller” Now people from India can understand the intricities of “Thriller”.

#3 – “Thriller” Wedding Dance A more appropriate choice to celebrate your nuptiuals than “Bad” or “Beat It.”

#2 – Glee – “Thriller” / “Heads Will Roll” Our heads our rolling in ecstasy at this performance. It’s so good, even gay-bashing, glee club-hating bully Karofsky was so impressed, he joined in halfway through!

#1 – Cebu Prison Dancing Inmates “Thriller” not only turns musical theatre-hating meanies into singing and dancing fools, it has the power to make criminals get in touch with their inner gleeks.

Which “Thriller” tribute is your favorite? And which ones did we miss? Tell us in the comments!
