UPDATED: Hear A Snippet Of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way”—Maybe?

Feb 7th, 2011 // 4 Comments

Admit it—love her or hate her, you’ve fancied hearing Lady Gaga’s new single “Born This Way” every since Lady Gaga revealed the very existence of “Born This Way.” Well, thankfully some cheeky bugger’s gone and thrown a short, looped snippet of the tune onto the Internet. Or at least it’s what’s purported to be part of “Born This Way.” It sounds a bit distorted to us, but then again, we’re still reeling from a post-Super Bowl hangover/Xtinagate V 4.0. Hear it below, pop mongers! UPDATE: It’s a fake, tweets PopJustice.

As we’ve mentioned, we don’t know if this is actually part of “Born This Way” that’s made its way online. UPDATE: According to PopJustice, seems not to be, sadly! But we’d be willing to bet a pack of Wrigley’s that it might be, hence possibly the reason The Gaga bumped up the single’s release date to this Friday. [Anyone got 75 cents we can borrow?]

Of course, if you’re itching for a much more Grapes Of Wrath-style assessment of the full track, be sure to head over to PopJustice.

It’s obviously the song, but it’s not that special…

  2. It sounds like someone looped Gaga’s voice from the VMA’s. The vocals don’t flow at all with the backing music. Fake.

  3. Thank gosh that isn’t the real thing, i was sorely disappointed while listening to whatever that was. I kind of want this song to be good even though I know she’ll ruin it with a complete Bull$h!* music video the way she did with Alejandro.

My expectations aren’t very high anyways and i suppose it’ll either be better or worse than Hold It Against Me,which isn’t saying much regardless of the outcome.

  4. well someone is retarded, this is it ive heard it its not finished mastered or tuned in this snippet but it is the real song, they didnt loop the vma vocal because that wouldnt work in a studio (im a producer) with all that background noise and stuff you would of heard CLEARLY that it was the VMAs
