What’s that old saying? Don’t judge a photo spread by its magazine cover. That’s definitely the case with Katy Perry, Elle magazine’s latest cover gal. The mag’s cover depicted the California native in a ’70s inspired, jewel-toned pants and blazer ensemble, but inside, the Teenage Dream appeared to be posing for a racy romance novel—about a pop singer who runs away with a 1930s circus troupe.
