Now that “Born This Way” is lodged at the top of the Hot 100 chart and is being covered left and right, are you dying to know more details about Lady Gaga’s upcoming same-titled LP (due out May 23)? Well, die another day, pop kiddies—Rolling Stone has revealed some info about several tracks on the album, and we’ve compiled the best bits just below! The title of Rolling Stone‘s article is a tease: “Preview Six Songs From Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’.” Alas, there are no sound clips, other than live videos of Gaga performing “Born This Way” and “You And I,” which the scantily-clad pop diva has been doing on her Monster Ball tour for the past year or so.

Anyway, here’s what we gleaned from the writeup:

* “Judas,” the Lady’s next single, is a “pop banger,” has a house music breakdown and features a vocal bit that sounds like Rihanna. Lyrics include: “I’m just a holy fool / baby it’s so cool / I’m still in love with Judas, baby.”

* “Edge Of Glory” is “incredibly catchy” and features saxophone playing by Clarence Clemons of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band fame.

* We’ve already heard “Scheiße” in remix form, when it was previewed at Thierry Mugler’s menswear fashion show in Paris last month. Rolling Stone notes that the version on Born This Way “doesn’t have the same hardcore European house flavor, but it’s definitely the tune most likely to bring back memories of early-Nineties dance crossover hits by C+C Music Factory, Snap and RuPaul.” Sounds like near-perfection to us! (If only there was a Real McCoy reference…)

* “Hair” is, sadly, not a cover of the Cowsills’ 1969 hit. But it does have Gaga singing the line “I am my hair!”

Rolling Stone also points out that Gaga’s camp informed the publication that the mixes they were played are not final. And given that the latex Lady recently admitted she spent a year producing the song “Born This Way” alone, we believe them!
