Lady Gaga, finally free from those pointy skin-hued shoulder pads, not only made her runaway debut at the Mugler fashion show in Paris this afternoon — she debuted her new song “Government Hooker” as she strutted her stuff in her standard giant platform hooves. The song is pretty good, and Gaga didn’t fall and become “fashion roadkill”, so it’s a double success! Listen to a snippet of “Government Hooker” below.

The song segues into “Born This Way” around 3:20, and Gaga makes her fierce appearance in the very beginning (looking oh-so French smoking a cigarette) and again at 6:20.

Lady Gaga — “Government Hooker” (Snippet)

“I’m gonna drink my tears tonight / Gonna drink my tears and cry / Cause I know you love me baby,” sings Gaga. “Put your hands on me, John F. Kennedy.”

We’re not sure if this is the studio track or a remix. But it’s definitely more out-there and eccentric than “Born This Way”, and it sounds both totally 80s new wave and completely original at once.

Somehow we don’t think this one will be an official single — but hey, that didn’t stop Gaga’s Fame Monster track “Dance In The Dark” from being nominated for a Grammy.

Thoughts on Gaga’s new tune, little monsters? While you’re no doubt listening to “Government Hooker” a dozen more times, check out one more pic from the fashion show. Those giantess pigtails are adorable!
