Kelly Rowland And Lil Wayne Seek Some “Motivation” On New Track

Kelly Rowland’s next album is still missing an official release date and a title, but the songs keep coming anyway — Kelly takes a break from the club scene for “Motivation”, a slow-jam collab with Lil Wayne, written by Rico Love and produced by Jim Jonsin. Listen below.

Not exactly the most memorable song. And we weren’t too impressed with Kelly’s generic offering to the dancefloor, “Hangover”, either. Methinks half this album might be a disappointment. Good thing she’s got “Commander”, “Forever And A Day” and “Rose Colored Glasses” allegedly on the track list as well. It’s just too bad all those songs were released eons ago — she’s going to need another hit to help promote her album when it finally is ready to drop.

What do you think of “Motivation”?

Not feeling Motivation at all ! When Love Takes Over, Commander and Unity are way better than this. Kelly Rowland should release Unity in my opinion … amazing ballad !

  2. fontz

i love it so much all that pop stuff like commander wasnt doin it for me but this song is my jammmm

  3. ZMH

hate to sound so harsh but if this is the lead single the album will probably see its rejection by a bargain bin.

  4. Kelly may not have a release date nore title of the album but she has a versatile sound and look which means she could be up to something and seeking to give her viewer and haters something they didn’t know they can bargain for. Don’t underestaimate a grammy winner and a grammy nominee. Ha!

  5. Alex
