Miley Cyrus Plays Justin Bieber Opposite Herself On ‘Saturday Night Live’

How does Miley Cyrus cope with hosting a show that has so hilariously (and pretty accurately) lampooned her? By poking fun at the only teen star who gets mocked more than she does, of course — namely, the one and only Justin Bieber. The sometimes-mustachioed diva made the best of a situation that was poised to be both “pretty cool” and pretty awkward by appearing in drag as her “hangout buddy” opposite Vanessa Bayer (as Miley) on Saturday Night Live‘s “Miley Cyrus Show” skit. She also proved game to have a laugh at herself in a clever, partially-sung opening monologue in which she apologizes for her imperfection. Head below for haircut, bong hit, and Never Say Never jokes aplenty!

But beyond her monologue, Miley donned a familiar-looking hoodie for what would turn out to be a Twitter-freezing turn as the Bieb. Who better than “Justin” to stand up for salvia? (“It’s totally legal, yo.”)

Pretty cool, right?
