‘American Idol’ Power List: Jacob Lusk Soars, Pia Is Still In The Lead

This week’s American Idol Power List covers the Top 11 once again, since by now we know that Casey Abrams was granted the one-time save by the judges on last night’s results show after he received the lowest votes. Last week we noted that Casey needed to curb the screaming, and, well, he only kind of half-listened. (Tsk, tsk!) Head below to see where we ranked the contestants in the third week of the Idol Power List! After Motown night on Wednesday, we made it no secret that we were blown away by Jacob Lusk‘s (11) take on Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terrell’s heart-tugging duet “You’re All I Need To Get By.” Also impressive: our reigning Power List queen Pia (10), Naima (9)—who incorporated wow-factor African dance into her performance—and James (8). We also dug Thia (7), though she still wound up in the Bottom Three last night.

Casey (6) was just so-so, and we also relegated Lauren (5), Scotty (4) and Haley (3) to the ho-hum category. The two we thought did the worst were Paul (2) and Stefano (1). Alas, it’s bad news here for Thia, Casey and Stefano, who all lose a point for winding up in the Bottom Three.
