Britney Spears’ Dance Version Of “Till The World Ends” Video Is Light On Doomsday

Remember how there were supposed to be two versions of Britney Spears’ Ray Kay-directed “Till The World Ends” music video? Lo and behold, the “dance edit” clip has made its way online, and it features a whole lot more of Britney busting some moves. Well, alright—it features a whole lot more of Britney’s backup dancers busting moves. You can’t have it all, right? The end may be nigh, as the title of the Max Martin/Dr. Luke/Billboard production suggests, but in the new dance version of the video most of the apocalyptic references are pushed to the side in favor of more moves from Brit and her crew.

Sadly, our favorite shot from the original version of the vid—that of Spears poking her head out of a manhole at the very end to witness the sunlight—is cut. This clip just ends on Britney looking into the camera. How very “Hold It Against Me.”

Was this second version of the highly-acclaimed “Till The World Ends” video necessary? Let us know what you think.
