It’s been a minute since we’ve heard anything new from Estelle. Last year she offered up the so-so David Guetta co-production “Freak,” which failed to repeat the success of “American Boy.” Now the UK singer has a new single out overseas called “Break My Heart”—which, lyrically, sounds like it’d be a good response-song to Taio Cruz’s “Break Your Heart.” Listen below. “Break My Heart” is a complete switcheroo in sound for Estelle after minimalistic club offering “Freak.” It’s a cool spring jam that features raps from “Made Men” MC Rick Ross and serves as a single off the singer’s delayed All Of Me LP.

“I got you, you got me, I like you, you like me / And we can be everything, I wanna love you,” Estelle sings on the breezy mid-tempo tune. It’s been two years since “American Boy” ruled the airwaves. Will this be the tune to garner Grammy winner Estelle some decent play once again?
