Ke$ha And Nicki Minaj Remix Britney Spears’ “Till The World Ends”

Apr 22nd, 2011 // 9 Comments

If anybody was going to remix Britney Spears’ single “Till The World Ends”, it may as well be Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj. K-Dolla, of course, co-wrote Brit’s apocalypse-set dance party jam, and Harajuku Barbie will be touring with the pop star this Summer. Even if they weren’t involved with Spears before jumping on this track, we’d still welcome this remix with open arms. Get your heart racing by letting all three pop ladies blow your mind below!

Britney Spears feat. Ke$ha & Nicki Minaj — “Till The World Ends” Remix

Is this a ploy to get the song to hit #1 on the Hot 100, much like with what happened with Rihanna’s Brit-assisted mix of “S&M”? We don’t know, nor care. We just love that these three artists (who now feature countdown tickers on their respective websites) share space on the same track. The sizzurp-slurping opening sets the tone, and provides a great backdrop for Nicki to try on half a dozen different vocal tricks and accents in her verse. Ke$ha adds a slightly whiny twist to the chorus, making it sound as if TTWE could have been written for her — though we prefer Britney’s version.

Is the remix what you’d hoped from three of the biggest stars in pop?

Ok, I love Britney, Ke$ha, and Nicki Minaj very much!!!!!!! And I really love Till the World Ends and I’m liking this remix a lot but Nicki kills the mood. Ke$ha and Britney are great together but it should’ve been Nicki and Britney on Inside Out.

I think it sounds really cool. People are going to say Britney is just trying to repeat the success of the S&M remix for herself, but I don’t think that is the case. I think it is a beautiful thing that all these women are working together and supporting each other, when so many fans of each and every one of todays big pop stars slam any artist that isn’t their favorite as copying someone else, and the media in general just pits them all against each other. Its a powerful thing, and since Britney is the focal point of this article, Its fitting for her to want to collaborate with other female artists during this era with an album titled Femme Fatale. The collabos add to the meaning of it.

OMG!!! awesome remix. britney knows exactly what to do to get another number 1 song. nicki kills her verse and kesah did ok. this is a REAL remix, not like S&M (which was pretty bad). i loved the original but this is just FLAWLESS!

  7. Absolutely love this, but I still love the original more. It’s sicker than the remix!

I was thinking the same thing as far as Nicki on Inside Out. That would be hot.
