With all the attention being focused on the Rebecca Blacks and Savannah Robinsons of the world, we sometimes forget just what a sensation 13-year-old Greyson Chance caused last year when he stunned Ellen DeGeneres with his “Paparazzi” cover. But given his impending tour with Cody Simpson and the announcement Friday of his upcoming album title (Hold On ‘Til The Night), Chance is out to prove he’s here to make tween girls weep with joy another day. Head below to watch his performance at today’s annual White House Easter Egg Roll. Greyson and his band rocked out with an impressive rendition of “Empire State Of Mind” that reminded us just why this kid drew all that attention in the first place last year.

“This year’s been a pretty crazy year for me,” he told the crowd at the White House. “I’m working on my debut album. Actually it’s finished and it’s going to be coming out in late summer.”

Later Chance tweeted, “Just met the President @BarackObama! What an amazing honor, he was so nice and humble. I was very nervous!!”

Chance fan Mapender uploaded the following vid to YouTube, and notes that the young crooner also performed the following songs: “Fire,” “Unfriend You” and his single “Waiting Outside the Lines.” (Note: “Empire State Of Mind” is the second song in the clip.)

Willow Smith was also on the schedule to perform at the White House Easter Egg roll today.
