Chiddy of innovative rap duo Chiddy Bang is going for the Guinness World Record for longest freestyle rap, and to reach that goal, dude has to lay down rhymes for nine hours straight. MTV is livestreaming the event, and as of right now, he’s just passed the two-hour mark. Jump below and watch the magic happen until around 9 p.m. PST. And somebody, please get this guy a cup of tea, his vocal chords are going to be TORN UP by tonight.
We knew Chiddy was a talented freestyler — last year he improvised some slick rhymes for our Coachella survival guide — but this is pretty insane. We hope he doesn’t accidentally hit the word “orange” at hour six and gets rapper’s block.
