Morning people, rejoice! You can forget coffee — with all the hot talent lined up to appear on Good Morning America in the coming months, a cuppa joe will play second fiddle to the jolt you’ll get from your TV set when you crawl out of bed this summer. Nearly all the busiest ladies in pop right now will join the glorious Lady Gaga on the ABC program’s “Summer Concert Series in Central Park,” including underdog Nicki Minaj and the world-running Beyonce. And if that’s not enough to keep you from hitting the “snooze” button, head below to watch a promo revealing who else you can rise and shine with.
On May 27, the warm-weather festivities will kick off with everybody’s favorite fame-hooker prostitute wench, and forthcoming dates for Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, and more will be announced in the near future.
Beyond those three ladies, even more of today’s most in-demand divas are set to appear, including Selena Gomez, Florence + the Machine, Jennifer Hudson — and, um, Debbie Gibson and Tiffany. It won’t be a completely “girls only” event, though: Taio Cruz and the Top 11 American Idol contestants will stop by, too.
Not surprisingly, Chris Brown is not scheduled to return to GMA — but he will appear on NBC’s Today in addition to the almost-equally-impressive lineup of Bruno Mars, Rihanna, and Cee Lo.
