For all the ridiculous things Lady Gaga drapes on her body, the piece of clothing that the pop star finds herself the most comfortable in is leather. “This is how I get home. My leather jacket is like my Dorothy slippers,” the native New Yorker tells MTV in a new documentary, “Lady Gaga: Inside The Outside”, airing tomorrow night. “That’s why I changed when we sat down. He [director Davi Russo] said, ‘I wanna ask you about New York.’ I said, ‘You better get my leather.'” Watch the Rolling Stone cover girl discuss her hometown, her love of musical theatre and the time she was bullied in three preview videos of the doc below.

“I wrote so many songs about New York,” she says of her new album, Born This Way. “One in particular, ‘Marry The Night’, that record is about my husband, New York.” (Shh — no one tell Gaga that her husband is cheating on her with about 10 million other people.)
