Nicki Minaj Shares Swizz Beatz Collaboration “Catch Me”

After taking her big fat “Super Bass” to the Billboard Music Awards, the colorfully-coiffed rapper brings it down a notch with “Catch Me”, a bonus track from the Best Buy version of her hit album, Pink Friday. The low-key, grimy-sounding tune, now remastered for DJs, comes to us compliments of Harajuku Barbie’s Twitter. So even if you didn’t buy Nicki’s album from the electronic store retailer, you can enjoy it by heading below!

Last year, Nicki told Hot 93.7’s Jenny Boom Boom that she expected “Catch Me” to make the official track list of her album. “It’s one song called ‘Catch Me’ that will definitely make the album and it’s a masterpiece from me and Swizz,” she said. “It’s a little singing, a little rapping, but it’s like a different vibe. It’s a moody vibe. It’s just dope. And the beat sounds really futuristic, but it’s mellow futuristic. It puts you in this weird… like you’re high type shit, even though I don’t get high and I never have.”

  1. Adam

It was a Pink Friday bonus track. Nothing new here.

  2. When I heard this track back in the day, I thought it was a mistake to not have it on the regular version of Pink Friday…it’s a really deep, passionate song.

Does this remind any of you of a female Drizzy track?
