‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Contestant Ronan Parke: The Next “Next Justin Bieber”?

There have been a slew of tweenage boys who’ve come along in the last year and threatened to steal away tattooed crooner Justin Bieber’s pop crown — Waiting 4U tourmates Greyson Chance and Cody Simpson are probably the most famous of the mop-topped crew. But move over, lads, because there’s a new kid on the block in the shape of 12-year-old Britain’s Got Talent contestant Ronan Parke. Watch him cover Adele’s version of “Make You Feel My Love” below. “I was really nervous because Simon [Cowell] was there,” Parke told the BBC after his performance last night on the UK talent series. “And you think of the millions who are watching at home.”

But the soulful pipsqueak didn’t really have anything to fear, since BGT judge Simon told him, “I wasn’t crazy about your initial choice of song, but I have to say you totally and utterly nailed that. If Adele’s watching now I think she’ll be really happy.”

Ronan is on through to the group of this season’s Britain’s Got Talent finalists. (Deservedly so, we say!)
