Cee Lo Green Voices Up On The ‘Tonight Show’
Following Christina Aguilera’s round of appearances last week for The Voice, it was Cee Lo Green’s turn to hit the promo trail. The “I Want You” crooner sat down for a Tonight Show one-on-one with Jay Leno and discussed how he got his nickname of Cee Lo (“My given name is Carlo…”), what the impetus was for him recording Grammy-winning radio staple “Fuck You!” and what he really thought when his Voice team member Nakia auditioned with the song. Overall, Cee Lo’s interview was a short one, and we wish the soul singer had been given the opportunity to show as much personality as he does on The Voice.
