Here in the States, Stockholm act Teddybears have followed up their Robyn collaboration “Cardiac Arrest” with surf-rock pop track “Cho Cha,” which features the odd vocal pairing of Cee Lo Green and The B-52’s. Listen to the catty tale below! Cee Lo handles the brunt of the lyrics while The B-52’s are mainly relegated to backing vocals. “Now here’s a little story about Cho Cha the cat, she loves me and I love her back / she has my heart, you know how, I think they’re all jealous when all the ladies say meow,” the Voice coach sings on the innuendo-filled Teddybears tune.

Fred Schneider does manage to get one lone solo bit: “Soft and sweet and warm and fuzzy / you drive me crazy, I love you baby!”

“Cho Cha” is a catchy little number that’s more fun than its silly title would imply. Both this and “Cardiac Arrest” appear on Teddybears’ album Devil’s Music, which was released overseas last year and arrives here in the States on June 21.

Now, wouldn’t it be miraculous it radio somehow singled “Cho Cha” out and began giving the masses a much-needed break from “Fuck/Forget You”?
