Pitbull And Kelly Rowland Sound Inspired On “Castle Made Of Sand”

Pitbull’s sixth album Planet Pit is just round the corner (it’s out June 21), and among the plethora of guests on the LP — Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, T-Pain, Marc Anthony and Enrique Iglesias, to name a few — there is one Kelly Rowland, who sings the chorus on “Castle Made Of Sand.” Of course, we’d like to say it doesn’t sound like Eminem and Rihanna’s summer 2010 smash “Love The Way You Lie,” but… Listen below. “So you try to believe in the castle made of sand / when it falls to the sea and your feet can’t find dry land, reach for my hand,” Kelly sings on the chorus of “Castle Made Of Sand,” a tune that was produced by DJ Frank E and also features rapper Jamie Drastik.

Meanwhile, PItbull delivers biting rhymes such as “Thank you mom for making me a man, let a mother fucker knock down my castle in the sand.”

Hmmm. As much as we’re down to hear a collaboration between these two, we just can’t shake the similarities, musically, between this and the Alex Da Kid-produced “Love The Way You Lie.’

Are we totally off in thinking there’s a familiar vibe between the two songs? Let us know below!
