While Lupe Fiasco got into quite a heated argument on The O’Reilly Factor the other night, the “Words I Never Said” rapper had a far more chill, philosophical discussion with Cee Lo Green on the set of the Voice coach‘s new Fuse program Talking To Strangers. And, no, we don’t know how Cee Lo has the energy to juggle so many gigs at once, either! Head below to watch the two vocalists chat. Among other things, Fiasco spoke out about the commercial nature and artificiality he sees in the music business.

“I definitely think that there’s a certain level of the success machine, and the rewards of being successful and what that was determined by, by our…culture,” Lupe said. “It started to redefine in its lyrics and in its songs what success was and what those status symbols were. And if you didn’t have this, you weren’t credible and you didn’t count. We did this to ourselves.”

But if that’s all a bit too deep for you, the Chicago MC also performed three songs, including his current Top 10 hit “The Show Goes On.”
