London-based Aussie crooner Darren Hayes, formerly of ’90s power-pop duo Savage Garden, is back with “Talk Talk Talk,” his first single off upcoming fourth solo LP Secret Codes And Battleships. The video for the lovey-dovey jam just premiered and the single was made available on iTunes today, to boot. And it has a b-side — a cover of Madonna’s “Angel.” Catch both songs below. “I know that you’ve been pushed down, I know you think we’re better as two / sometimes the miracle of love is meaningless and clumsy like the beating of a heart,” Darren sings on “Talk Talk Talk,” a song he co-wrote with Nicole Scherzinger’s “Don’t Hold Your Breath” producer Carl Falk.

The stop-motion video features Daz wearing his emotions on his sleeve as he journeys through various shapes and objects (please spare us, Illuminati theorists), trying to win back the affection of his true love.

As mentioned above, Hayes’ two-track “Talk Talk Talk” single was added to iTunes today, and it contains a cover of Madge’s Like A Virgin single “Angel” as the B-side.

Listen below to his modern take on the 1985 classic, and let us know if you’re digging Darren’s new music! As for us, we’ll just be over on the side dancing all afternoon.
