Madonna’s Looking (Surprisingly) Good On BlueWater Comic Cover

As if Madonna doesn’t have enough problems these days with people using her likeness, it seems she’s the next pop star victim (er, target) in BlueWater Productions’ line of notoriously awful pop culture comic books. But here’s the kicker, the music icon’s cover is actually good (at least, better than the “creative” treatment her predecessors Lady Gaga and Britney received). The artist responsible for  “Vogue” songstress’ cover seems to have used the Material Girl‘s Confessions… days as inspiration, and the result is a rendering even better than the real Madge! Below find out more about the 52-year-old gym mogul‘s upcoming August issue.

Madonna’s installment is the latest in BlueWater’s ongoing Female Force series which has included such influential females as: Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, JK Rowling, Ellen Degeneres, and Sarah Palin.

From the company’s official press release:

Madonna is arguably the most influential figure in the history of American music. This comic book will focus on her humble beginnings and the incredible events that led to her eventually becoming one of the few people in the world recognized by only their first name! Though she has paved the way for many female pop stars that came after her, from Britney Spears to Lady Gaga to Beyonce she is unique in that while many are compared to her, she is never compared to anyone else.

We can’t argue with that.

Will you be picking up Madge’s 32-page comic book later this summer?
