Lady Gaga Has Her Eyes Wide Shut Performing At MTV’s Music Aid Japan
Unnaturally-colored hair. A fake pregnant belly. A bald cap. Lady Gaga never met a freaky fashion she didn’t like, and now she’s added a new oddly-enhanced body part to her wardrobe: eyes. The kid-friendly diva already sported some disturbingly buggy peepers in her “Bad Romance” vid, but that’s nothing compared to the shudder-inducing makeup she sported at MTV’s Music Aid Japan earthquake relief event in Tokyo, making it look like she’s staring at us even when her eyes are closed. (If kids thought Gaga had “huge eyes” before, we wonder how they’d react to this?) Check out the “eye-opening” performance below.
Clarence Clemons’ stoop buddy delivered an “Edge Of Glory” rendition that featured her as the fly tangled in her own green-hair spiderweb, about to be devoured by a spider, before segueing into “Born This Way.”
Mama Monster as prey? Frankly, we’d usually figure her for the predator! We only wish she’d used this idea in her “Edge Of Glory” video instead of the much-less-interesting, humdrum approach she did take.
