Beyonce Performance Makes Glastonbury History

If Beyonce really hoped to run the world by the time 4 hit record shops, then she needed to take charge of more than America. And she did just that this weekend with a history-making performance at the U.K.’s Glastonbury festival, perhaps England’s premier music event. B became the first woman ever to headline the event, and she made it count: check below for her performances of Dangerously In Love-era hits, Destiny’s Child gems (sans the horrendous fashion), newer jams like “Best Thing I Never Had”, and a fiery cover of Prince’s “The Beautiful Ones” that morphs into the Kings Of Leon hit “Sex On Fire”.

(Bonus: keep an eye out for Jay-Z, who enjoys the view from the crowd just three years after playing the fest himself). Can B top herself with a BET Awards performance

“You are witnessing my dream,” Beyonce told the crowd of 100,000 as she launched into her hits. And you know B dreams big.

“Crazy In Love”:

“Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)”

“Naughty Girl”

“Best Thing I Never Had” / “End Of Time”

“The Beautiful Ones” / “Sex On Fire”

What did you think of B’s performance? Did she do Glastonbury proud?
