If you’ve fallen in love with all the ballads on Beyonce’s 4, well, bonus track “Dreaming” (off the Japanese edition of the album) is just more of a good thing. (For those who want something to shake your booty to, take your booty elsewhere.) The midtempo track features the Glastonbury headliner fawning over her man yet again, letting us know there’s never enough ways for Bey to express her adoration for Jay-Z. Listen to “Dreaming” below.

Beyonce – “Dreaming”

“If this is a dream, then I don’t want to know / Because I don’t want to be without you, babe,” sings Beyonce above a pulsing drum beat. The best line, though, is this slightly cocky/totally fierce lyric: “I never wished on a star when a star ain’t got nothing on me.”

Like many of the ballads on 4, Bey’s voice is the best thing about this by-the-numbers love song. Though we kind of dig the “Single Ladies”-type “oh, oh oh”‘s during the chorus, this bonus track is far from the best thing we never had on the US edition of the LP.

On a related note, Beyonce’s video for her single “Best Thing I Never Had” will premiere on Vevo.com tomorrow.
