Consequence’s track, “On My Own” — featuring Kid Cudi on the hook and produced by Kanye West — was originally planned for the rapper’s Cons TV. Alas, his partnership with the G.O.O.D. Music label went up in smoke after the Queens MC claimed he wasn’t getting due credit for his work, and blamed producers (such as West) for his album delay. Luckily, we still get to hear this quirky, soulful jam. Thanks for the freebie, Con! Jump below to give it a listen.

On My Own (Full Version) by Consequence

“I could do it all my own / I don’t have to listen to your lies (forever),” sings the Wizard on the hook. Ironic, no?

“On My Own” will reportedly find its permanent home on Consequence’s upcoming Movies On Demand 3.
