Watch A Preview Of Demi Lovato’s Somber “Skyscraper” Video
You might expect Demi Lovato’s “Skyscraper” vid to take place in a concrete jungle of some sort, but there’s not a tall building to be found in the video preview that just surfaced. In fact, we actually see the bikini babe in just about the most barren landscape imaginable, looking much more solemn than we’d like after leaving rehab only a few months ago (and presumably overcoming eating and self-harm issues that resulted in a nervous breakdown). We definitely get the feeling that this is going to be a very personal and emotional video from the young star. Check out the preview below.
We hope this song, along with the incredibly solemn-looking video, provides some catharsis for the young star — and a way to further express the struggles she has recently coped with (and perhaps inspire fans facing similar issues to seek help as she did).
With this video preview, it’s clearer than ever that the onetime Disney star is ready to grow up a bit and take on a more mature look and sound on her upcoming album.
The “Skyscraper” video will premiere on Wednesday.
