Beastie Boys Reteam With Spike Jonze (And Santigold!) For Action Figure Video

The Beastie Boys and director Spike Jonze are responsible for making one of the funniest action music videos ever with “Sabotage”, and now they’ve managed to one-up themselves several times over with the clip for “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win” from the Boys’ Hot Sauce Committee Part 2. Funny Or Die is premiering the four-minute version, but hop below for all 11 glorious minutes of this epic action-figure adventure.

The video utilizes the likenesses of the Beastie Boys, as well as featured singer Santigold, as action figures, putting on a show in a snowy setting. However, a simple concert suddenly becomes a fight to the death, as assassins and zombies attempt to stop the B-Boys. (Don’t worry – it all works out for the trip in the end, as well as their Yeti friend.)

Beastie Boys feat. Santigold – “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win”

This is basically the most deranged Saturday morning kids show we’ve ever seen. We love it.

If you need more Beastie Boys music played over childhood imagery, check out this well-made mash-up of the group’s “Sure Shot” as lip-dubbed by the cast of Sesame Street (via Jezebel):
