David Guetta’s upcoming LP Nothing But The Beat has an impressive and extensive roster of guest stars, but one name we didn’t know was a part of the project is braided rocker chick Mary J. Blige. The “Feel Inside” songstress lends her powerhouse pipes to the magic bubble-blower’s track “Titanium,” giving the jam an unexpected, unconventional sound for an electronic dance number. Unfortunately for the Helpful diva, however, the album’s track list has Sia singing “Titanium,” so it seems as though Blige’s version was scrapped for some reason. Head below for a listen.

We’re digging Blige’s vocals here, and wondering why Guetta decided to go with Sia instead. (Not that we don’t like her too.) The two singers have very, very different voices, so whenever we hear the album version of “Titanium,” it’s bound to sound like a whole new track.

Do you think Guetta should have stuck with Blige on “Titanium”?
