No less than four American Idol Season 10 contestants have landed label deals (so far): winner Scotty McCreery, runner-up Lauren Alaina, “This Time” belter Pia Toscano and, the latest, smoky-voiced beauty Haley Reinhart. Entertainment Weekly‘s Music Mix reports today that Haley, who was deigned worthy of singing Lady Gaga’s “You And I” on AI prior to the song’s release, is now the latest signing to Interscope Records. Like the soulful Amy Winehouse, who the music world lost over the weekend, Haley also performed with Tony Bennett. (Winehouse’s collaboration with the 84-year-old crooner, “Body And Soul,” will appear on his upcoming album of duets, while Reinhart sang with him on the Idol finale in May.)

Throughout the past season of AI, she showcased her vocal chops and somewhat old-school blues-pop leanings. So can we expect Amy/Adele/Duffy-like material from the 20-year-old Illinois native? Let’s hope so. We can’t really see her going down the traditional radio-ready pop diva path.

Music Mix notes that Haley is currently working on her debut album. Meanwhile, the lengthy American Idols Live! Tour still trudges on. Tonight Reinhart and the rest of this year’s finalists hit the Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia.
