Given her collaborations with such fashionable designers, photographers and artists as Alexander McQueen, Thierry Mugler, Nick Formichetti, Terence Koh and Terry Richardson, it somehow makes sense that Lady Gaga would get around to doing a large-scale project with haute couture maven Jean Paul Gaultier. The two of them sat down for an hour-and-15-minute-long interview, which is set to air on the CW on September 12 at 8 p.m. Head below to watch a tease of the highly-stylized one-one-one. Gaultier, of course, designed Madonna’s costumes (including the cone bra) for both her 1990 Blonde Ambition and 2006 Confessions tours. And we know how “You And I” singer Gaga likes to draw inspiration from Her Madgesty! (Case in point: the mixture of religious imagery and sex — dig that shot of Jean Paul decked out as a priest, spanking nun Gaga in the teaser video below.)

Gaga by Gaultier takes place in the Jean Paul’s Paris studio. The special first aired in France in June.

Meanwhile, how cute is that last image of Lady Gaga looking at the Eiffel Tower, while Gaultier chases her down with a bouquet of flowers?
