Avril Lavigne Gets An On-Stage Scare From A Fan
Both Rihanna and Miley Cyrus were the victims of some seriously too-close encounters with fans recently, and while performing in Brazil, Avril Lavigne had a frightening moment when a raucous fan stormed the stage and ran up to her. Thankfully, Avril’s security was able to contain him before he could do anything other than make the singer jump up with a little scream. Live footage below.
Avril was sitting on a piano, about to launch into a cover of Coldplay’s “Fix You” when the fan startled her. (The altercation starts 30 seconds in.)
“I want just getting in the moment there!” said Avril, shaken but not scared enough not to go on with the show.
