Rye Rye And Robyn Hit ‘Leno’ With “Never Will Be Mine”
We caught Robyn and Rye Rye live on stage together in LA last night (opening for Katy Perry) right about the same time as the rest of the world was able to see their (pre-taped) appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, where the dynamic duo performed “Never Will Be Mine.” We think our favorite JetBlue passenger is being an awfully good sport about promoting the up-and-coming rapper (on tour, with TV appearances like this, and in the video) even though the Robyn tune it samples, “Be Mine,” hails all the way from 2005 and the “Call Your Girlfriend” crooner has Body Talk singles of her own to promote. We don’t know abut you, but we will gladly be either Robyn or Rye Rye’s any day.
