Big Boi Released From Jail, Lawyer Proclaims Innocence
Big Boi has been released from jail following his arrest for being found with ecstasy, MDMA powder and Viagra after leaving a cruise ship. After posting $16,000 bail, his lawyer released a statement indicating Sir Chico Dusty’s innocence: “While Big Boi was traveling with his group and friends, a small amount of contraband was found in the collective luggage. I am confident when the entire facts are aired Big Boi will be completely exonerated.” As for Big Boi, he dropped a statement of his own via Twitter: “Shiiiiit they said it was the Love Boat.” [Via Hip-Hop Wired]
