Watch Jay-Z & Kanye West’s Short But Effective “Otis” Video Preview

Cash Kings Jay-Z and Kanye West are successful for a reason — they craft clever, time-tested rhymes, strike a chord with their genre-spanning tunes and whip up stunning visuals to accompany their catalog of hits. Can we expect the Spike Jonze-directed clip for Watch The Throne jam “Otis” to fit that bill? MTV has unleashed a short preview of the vid ahead of its premiere tomorrow evening. Head below to watch Jay and ‘Ye try a little tenderness. A lot flashes by in the mere seconds we’re given as a scrap ahead of the main course that is “Otis”: black-and-white footage of the two MCs grooving in the lab, an explosion, the pair walking arm-in-arm off a stage, Kanye shouting while flames surround him, Jay walking up to Yeezy as fireworks shoot into the sky and the rhyming twosome goofing around in front of the ever-present American flag that surrounds this single.
