Lady Gaga “You And I” Video To Premiere This Thursday
Following last week’s image of a white-clad Mother Monster sitting at a piano in the grass, Lady Gaga tweeted another still from her upcoming “You And I” music video early this morning. Here we get to see the MTV VMA-nominated songstress’ weary heels as she makes the long walk from NYC to Nebraska. And, good news, little monsters — the visual for the fourth Born This Way single is finally set to premiere later this week! The “You And I” clip is set to debut on MTV on Thursday (August 18) at 7:50 p.m. EST. Fan site Gaga Daily also reports that, following the premiere, Lady Gaga will make a special announcement from New York City. Any guesses as to what that is, monsters?
As for the above reveal from the video, Gaga had this to say last month during a radio interview:
“The premise of the video is that I’ve walked all the way from New York City to Nebraska to get [my boyfriend] back. I’m walking with no luggage, no nothin’. It’s just me, and my ankles are kind of bleeding a little bit and there’s grass stuck in my shoes.”
Perhaps the Lady ought to have opted for a pair of Adidas instead? Nah, never going to happen…
