The-Dream is prepping the release of his 1977 album under his birth name of Terius Nash, and today we get a first listen to the sound of the album with the new track “Murderer”. The visuals that accompany the song are from the upcoming movie Colombiana, starring Zoe Saldana, and the song itself was inspired by the movie. “Hopefully the power of music Opens the Door of Original Music Together with Films Again,” tweeted the singer-songwriter. Watch and listen below.

The 10-song LP will be made available online for free on August 31, and though Dream fans are certainly happy about this, his label sure isn’t: “BTW NO ONE AT DEF JAM IS HAPPY ABOUT A FREE ALBUM,” tweeted Dream. “They are trying to stop it.”
